Sarah Horan Photography

Sarah Horan is an artist and educator originally from New York's Hudson Valley and currently resides in Savannah, GA. She earned her MFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013 and attained a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts Education from the State University of New York in New Paltz in 2010. She currently teaches photography and art at Savannah Country Day School while pursuing her own artistic endeavors.

In Western culture, we often understand life as a linear series of individual rituals or events. In this series, I capture a few of my own units of time into single visual documents using pinhole photography. No particular part of the event is singled out in importance and a new understanding of time can be explored.
